HOW DO YOU BUILD A COMPELLING CONTENT LIBRARY ON A BUDGET?
Santa Margherita Wines wanted to increase its online engagement, especially on social media. To do that, the Miami-based importer of fine Italian wines needed content – lots of content. And they had an idea: Highlight their wines’ varieties and subtle flavors by perfectly pairing them with 60 different recipes. What they didn’t have was a great deal of time or a Dom Pérignon budget.
Bowstring created a custom content plan that fit Santa Margherita’s needs and budget. With our precision planning, Santa Margherita could see in advance exactly how choices in talent or styling or location affected their bottom line and optimize every element of our five-day shoot.
We collaborated to develop a series of scenes authentic to their audience demographics, pairing lifestyle moments with wines and the recipes they complement. The shoot captured video and still photography of the scenes, plus detailed shots and cinemagraphs, providing hundreds of assets to tell the Santa Margherita story.
An added challenge: Covid restrictions prevented both the client team and our agency partner from being on set. To keep them connected to the shoot in real time, we turned to our Remote Video Village (RVV). The RVV gave the client’s team multiple views of sets, prep area, and camera feeds, plus live communication with our team.
Santa Margherita now has an extensive library of content including still photography and video assets that engages its audience and inspires them to make Santa Margherita Wines part of their memorable moments. Our five day shoot created a year’s-worth of content. The company is able to post more often on social media and build its following. Even better, Santa Margherita has a plan – and a partner – to continue to build their content library.
