HOW CAN BIG RED GO VIRTUAL IN A BIG WAY FOR A BIG GOAL?

 

In fall 2021, Cornell University was set to launch its ambitious $5 billion fundraising campaign with an in-person event when Covid-19’s evolution forced the university to move to a fully virtual kick-off.

The Solution

From an initial plan to produce a centerpiece video to unveil at the event, Bowstring developed a full run of show and content to build excitement and engagement during the virtual event and beyond. In a compressed time frame, we created an array of content including commercial production, multi-cam shoots, aerials, remote production, commercial photography, and documentary-style b-roll and custom motion graphics.

The Result

Fifteen days of shooting, fifty interviews, and a dive into Cornell’s archives led to 75 minutes of video for the event launch and a fundraising success. Plus dozens of social media assets and other content that serves as the foundation for the campaign going forward.
