Enrique cultivated his creative vision early in life, serving as a photography assistant on photo shoots in the Amazon rainforests in his native Venezuela while still in high school. Since then Enrique has spent the last 16 years developing powerful visuals and compelling stories. Enrique’s directorial credits include: THE RIDE, a football reality television show aired on NBC Sports Network, MTV2 and Fox Sports; national television spots for Villanova University, Athletic Republic, and Drexel University; short-form documentaries and promotional videos for American Family Insurance, NBC, Adidas and various clients in higher education and non-profit markets; and animation pieces for GlaxoSmithKline and Centocor. Enrique’s experience in all phases of a project allows him to remain hands-on through the project life cycle, from pre-visualization, through production, editorial, and finishing. Enrique’s creative vision and experience allows him to push the limits to deliver a piece that will constantly engage the viewer. He is an avowed technologist, constantly experimenting with the latest in production and post-production equipment and software, often serving as a beta-tester for manufacturers and developers. Enrique holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Structural Engineering from Villanova University. Because, of course, he does.

Sean co-founded Bowstring Studios in 2001 and has been intimately involved in nearly every aspect of the company, most recently as president and executive producer for most projects. He is often on the road traveling with production teams around the world, helping to integrate client messaging into the beautiful visuals produced by our teams. Sean has led projects for clients including American Family Insurance, Xfinity, GlaxoSmithKline, and the U.S. Army. Sean’s credits include Executive Producer of three seasons of THE RIDE, nearly 200 episodes of the Get 2 The Game series, the American Family Insurance Dream Challenge and The U.S. Army All-American Bowl: A Tradition of Strength and Honor. Recently, Sean has immersed himself in the world of virtual reality filmmaking, completing VR projects for Temple and Humana. Sean graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University’s College of Engineering and received his MBA from the Villanova School of Business.

Larry is the VP of Client Services at Bowstring Studios, where he is responsible for bringing client projects to life. On a mission to help the client reach their goal, he focuses on improving the client’s journey and creating their story with the most impactful call to action.

The story is what excites him, and he enjoys using new technologies to make stories immersive and entertaining. Larry has used this approach while producing commercials for brands, such as Nike, Gillette, Rothman Institute, and Ford Motor Vehicles.

Before taking on his role at Bowstring, Larry gained over ten years of experience working in freelance. All of this acquired knowledge allows him to guide our clients to reach their goals. He takes pride in building relationships, and growing partnerships – clients trust him and agencies recognize that he has the expertise to see their projects from beginning to end. His flexible and collaborative “do what it takes to get it done and get it done right” approach mirrors Bowstring’s dedication to our craft and our clients.

Larry enjoys traveling with his wife and son, who are his primary motivations. He is a passionate fan of Philly sports teams and also focuses on volunteer work at the Make a Wish Foundation.

Andy brings more than 30 years of creative, production, and executive management experience to his clients and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit that has led to many innovations in both the digital and content space.

Hayman has served in a variety of leadership roles throughout his career, including executive producer at One World Productions, chief creative officer at Publicis Technology; co-founder and executive creative director of DNA Media Group, one of the first digital agencies in North America, president, and chief creative officer at Sony Signatures, and managing partner and senior creative producer at Mindshare Entertainment. Most recently, Andy served as head of content production and development at Omnicom shop GMR, the largest sponsorship and experiential agency in the world.

 

Andy earned his degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and is an avid skier, mountain climber, and guitar enthusiast.

Natalie Johnson joins Bowstring Studios after 10 years at Momentum Worldwide. As a Director on the Business Leadership team, her experience spanned across various accounts including Microsoft, Mondelez, Nike, United Airlines and the U.S. Army. She has an extensive background in multi-platform brand marketing, program management and client relationships while proving to be an astute problem-solver capable of prioritizing and managing complex projects. 

 During her time at Momentum, Natalie led the day-to-day management of 400+ events per year with multiple disciplines including brand strategy, field marketing, digital planning and talent management. Natalie’s “perfect marketing world” is one that represents cross-promotion across industries to create fully comprehensive marketing plans and successful executions.

 A native of Burlington, Iowa, Natalie currently resides in Chicago, IL. As a former Division 1 athlete and University of Iowa Hawkeye alum, her internal drive and passion carries through to her support of partner marketing and client initiatives.

Melissa Schreiber is a communications strategist focused on building integrated, creative strategies that define and elevate brand awareness. Her expertise ranges from organic to paid content planning and execution to complete re-branding, naming, and messaging strategies. She excels in brand goal setting and measurement of key marketing objectives. Melissa has been leading global brand marketing and communications consultant for years, having won Gold, Silver, and Bronze Cannes Lion awards for creative and social responsiveness, as well as consulted and developed executive communications solutions for global leaders in Tokyo, Detroit, and Boston, to name a few. Melissa is known for her brand identity and audience identification workshops through a proven process that she developed called ID-ME, to establish a brand’s digital presence based on audience and brand value connection.

Jeffrey believes that, “it’s always about two things: the story you’re telling and the people you’re telling it with. It takes a team effort to make a good film.” Jeffrey is an award-winning film director/writer with three decades of creative achievement in TV commercials, corporate films and IMAX films. He is a co-founder of SBK Pictures, where he directed national commercials for Coke, Pepsi, Sprint, Campbell’s, Kraft, Merrill Lynch, Mattel, Pillsbury, Merck, Pfizer and many more. He has directed five IMAX films, and developed giant screen documentaries for the Olympics and Disney. Jeffrey is a co-founder of Medical Broadcasting Company, now Digitas Health. MBC was an innovator in creating commercials and branded content for the pharmaceutical and health sciences industry. Digitas Health is a global leader in digital marketing for health brands. He is a co-founder of eMoney Advisor, a leader in digital wealth management solutions for financial advisors. Jeffrey served as Executive Creative Director and was writer/director of a large library of award winning animated videos called Advisor Branded Media. Jeffrey joined Bowstring to continue expressing the possibilities of storytelling through video. He is inspired by the studio’s creative atmosphere. Jeffrey believes, “the talent of our team and the fun we have together is evident in our finished films.”

She feels lucky to have a career that has encouraged her to explore new industries, expand her cultural knowledge, and continuously develop storytelling methods. During her time at Bowstring she has led projects for Coca-Cola, U.S. Army, Xfinity and many more.

Matt uses his experience in broadcast and branded entertainment to lead an integrated post-production team that includes everything from editorial to animation to sound design and color to CGI. He inspires and motivates his team in a collaborative space that places importance on two main factors. The team’s mission is to use creativity and technical skills to make content push the envelope in look and style, to make it stunning. However, he and the team also strive to develop content pieces that will tell great stories, stay true to the client’s vision and identity and be an effective tool for those clients to connect with their audiences. As a leader and mentor, Matt excels in helping his team members reach their full potential. As an editor, Matt ensures Bowstring’s content engages, shares diverse stories, surprises and delights people and calls viewers to action.

Sam is committed to working with brands that embody values she can support and promote. Bowstring is an organization that runs on integrity, talent and fearlessness. As she puts it, “It is always easier to promote something that you actually like and believe in.” Sam grew up in the Philadelphia area, where she quickly adopted a love of the arts, culture, and adventure. From her first Polaroid camera to her last DSLR, she likes visuals that tell a story. As a youngster, Sam also became fascinated by commercial media content, memorizing the slogans for all the top brands on TV. While staying true to her artistic roots, Sam decided to pursue a career that would give her the opportunities to play creatively while working practically. Sam attended Temple University to study strategic communications. Sam has worked in community relations for nonprofits, media relations for arts groups, and marketing for corporate entertainment brands around the Philadelphia area. Bowstring’s production team takes pride in putting our partner’s brand story first. With a designer’s attention to detail and a marketer’s attention to analytics, Sam focuses on sharing Bowstring’s brand story first. You will often find her hiking, gardening, or rock climbing. She also enjoys playing the harmonica, working on DIY projects, and bringing arts programs to underserved schools.

Eli is an Account Manager who understands what resonates with people and what calls them to action. He remembers the “just do it” slogan and how it resonated with him to take action. Eli spent time at a variety of agencies working with top clients like 3M and Ramada. He takes pride in helping and supporting clients through the process and making it a seamless experience.

Our ethos is what brought Eli to Bowstring. A diverse, compassionate group of people who believe in visual storytelling and that the everyday person can see something come to life through this medium. As bowstring grows, Eli plans to enhance the customer experience by giving them the personal attentiveness they have come to expect.

As our resident bird watcher, Eli will gladly answer any questions regarding birds in North America.

Bradley has been heavily involved with the television, broadcast, live sports, and entertainment fields for over 7 years. Previously, Bradley has produced for the Philadelphia Eagles, 6ABC, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, numerous higher education institutions, branded entertainment clients and agencies. He now serves as the post-production producer at Bowstring Studios where he is intimately involved in every project that passes through the post workflow. Bradley holds a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University as well as a Master’s degree in Entertainment Business Management from Full Sail University.

David is an experienced Editor, Producer, and Director. Driven by the stories he hears, he takes pride in producing compelling content that thoughtfully reflects a client’s unique vision, product, brand, or initiative. Over the last 35 years, David Fish has worked in all facets of production, which allows him to be efficient and successful in bringing every story to life. Primarily working in documentary form, David partners with pharmaceutical and healthcare brands to harness the potential of video to tell the stories of both his subjects and his clients.

Vincent makes it his mission to inform and entertain. His interest in filmmaking took him to Villanova University, where he studied communications and media production. He was one of seven finalists in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 42nd Student Academy Award competition. Vincent honed his skills while editing short films and feature-length documentaries. Since joining the Bowstring post-production team in 2012, Vincent has become more than just an editor. His social consciousness pushes him to create change through storytelling. Vincent enjoys working with clients and partners to involve them in the post-production process. He takes responsibility for framing the stories we tell, and creating media that will immerse audiences as the story’s integrity is most important to him.

Vincent’s passion and talent are evident in his work for Hewlett Packard, NBC Sports, and Volvo. You can find him seeking new methods and working to sharpen his skills.

Filmmaking is his passion, but Vincent also has a love for music. He enjoys playing guitar and traveling to see live shows in his free time.

Mark has always been a creator, builder, and someone who likes to rearrange things, making him a natural Editor. He possesses the philosophy of “making it work” while problem-solving and forming creative decisions. With the foundation of Story First, Mark cuts knowing that if he captures the story, it will be the guide that holds the piece together. Mark has worked as an editor on a wide range of projects for clients like the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Medicine, 6ABC Action News WPVI, School District of Philadelphia, Xenith, MillerCoors, Nord Anglia Education, Temple University, Villanova University and many more.

Mark also enjoys making music as he is big on sampling and plunderphonics. He says that it feels similar to what he does as an editor – trying different things until it clicks.

Whether generating documentary, narrative or live action-style content, Rory is a knowledgeable professional who regularly employs the most progressive and proven technologies to showcase his style. Capturing aerial footage from helicopters, performing intricately planned shots in the studio, and hiking to get the iconic mountain top shot all are in a typical day’s work for Rory. He is a firm believer in a collaborative and innovative environment and pursues new and leading-edge approaches to all of his projects.

Andrew chose to join the Bowstring team because of the company mantra, “Story First.” “It’s on the walls throughout the office, and it is ingrained in every creative conversation that I have with my coworkers.” When he opens up a new timeline, that same mantra is the initial impression that runs across his mind.

Andrew produces a cinematic quality to his work that provides each project with a film-like experience. He enjoys the challenge of creative problem solving as it keeps his love for his craft alive. Finding engaging moments that create unique and emotive stories are among the many qualities that make Andrew a skilled editor.

Josh is Bowstring’s gear savant. His technical knowledge and passion for his work make him an indispensable member of the production team. Originally from San Diego, California, Josh is a Full Sail graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in film. He dedicates his whole life to his work in order to tell real stories that share impactful messages. Aiming to create change through the power of film, Josh is enthusiastic on location and in the studio, always adapting and overcoming challenges with creativity.

Josh also supports the film scene in the Philadelphia area. He enjoys working with local independent filmmakers to produce short films and features. Josh loves every aspect of his job. However, he is most interested in lighting. He always says, “Lighting is one of the most important parts of storytelling. It sets the tone and mood for the whole viewing experience.” Josh’s attention to these details is evident in brand films produced for our partners, such as the University of West Florida and Indiana State University.

Josh spends most of his free time staying on top of the latest industry trends and innovations to “stay ahead of the curve.” However, he does make time to train for mixed martial arts, hit the open road, and enjoy music – he can recite lyrics from songs recorded in the 1940’s to the present!
