Michael Vechesky

The Director of Photography for numerous films both dramatic and documentary such as: Heart of Gold, Cellar and The Palestra, he has camera credits with ESPN’s award winning 30 for 30 series and films like: Star-Crossed, Requiem for the Big East and Survive and Advance. His commercial work can be seen on ad campaigns for American Express, Buick and Gatorade and he has worked on numerous music videos and live concerts for stars such as Pink, Aerosmith, Blues Traveler, 3rd Eye Blind, G-Love and Special Sauce, Sammy Hagar, Styx, Poison and more. Most notably, Vechesky is a highly skilled sports cinematographer working regularly with NFL FILMS, NBA ENTERTAINMENT and MLB PRODUCTIONS as well as all of the major live broadcast sports networks: ESPN, ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS. He has filmed almost every major sporting event: NBA Finals, MLB World Series, NHL Stanley Cup and the NFL’s Super Bowl. Vechesky has a Bachelors of Arts degree from Villanova University (C’94), and studied photography, cinematography and HD filming at NYU.
